Hello Indiegogo-ers!

There are a large number of tables and chairs in IKEA. Though their functions are similar, the variety in design presents different styles, additional interesting touches, distinctive aesthetic perceptions, or even certain unique qualities. Likewise, though there are several kinds of 2-in-1, 3-in-1 iPhone cables, those are still for functions. As cables are one of the articles we use daily, why do we not give the cable a better design to bring us an extra joy?

The Orobis Transform is a creative product. The transformer style is our core design concept, and the half-open microUSB is an innovation created for the concept. In fact, the origin of the word “Oroboros” itself has fully reflected our enthusiasm for a unique design, and the multi-equipped connector has exactly substantialized this spirit. We sincerely hope that you like our product not simply because of its convenience but because of the spirit behind the design!

Cheers,
The Orobis Transform Team

Hi there to all of our early supporters – just wanted to drop you a quick note.

We’ve only been live for a few days now, and we’ve already raised MORE than 10% of our overall funding goal. We’ve been receiving some great press, also.

Coverage for the Orobis:

We’ve been lucky enough to have been featured by Yahoo! Taiwan, QQ.com (a massive Chinese social media site, the holding company for Weibo, which is like the Chinese language version of Twitter), Xinhua (a large Chinese news site), and an increasing number of US media outlets. Seems like the Chinese language media is picking us up pretty well, and western media sites are starting to follow as well!

Offline Excitement:

We’ve had some pretty exciting meetings here in Taipei in the last few days with some interest expressed from a number of brick and mortar outlets, and your early support has helped us to speak credibly, and plant the seeds for an awesome future for the Orobis Transform.

Thank You & Next Steps:

Again, we can’t tell you how much we appreciate your help, none of this would be possible without you, and we are over here all day working our butts off to make the Orobis Transform into a reality for you.

If you’d like to help out more, please share this link with anyone you think would be interested in the story of the Orobis Transform. The more the merrier!

Thanks so much, and hope you all are having an outstanding day!
